In the quadratics project we learned about quadratics. We started with the rocket problem. Then we learned more about quadratics and came back to the rocket problem knowing how to solve it. Then we started to learn about standard, factored, and vertex form. The final part of the quadratics unit was the postcard activity where we made a postcard showing how we can use quadratics in the real world. In the quadratics postcard activity I made a postcard showing how to use quadratics to find the focal point of Font Romeu Odeillo Via, the worlds largest solar furnace. I think the postcard went well, It was an interesting question and I learned more about quadratics to answer it. If I could do it again I would have chosen something that is easier to get measurements for instead of Font Romeu Odeillo Via.
