The AR-15 is one of the most popular and well known guns in America and has become very controversial. For many this gun is a symbol of freedom, but it is also a symbol of tragedy. It discussed the history of the gun and why it was so important. The ban on buying an AR-15 was lifted in 2004. After this it quickly became one of the most popular gun's in America. There where many different reasons that caused this gun to become popular so quickly. It was released when there was a lot of interest in the military and shooter games where becoming very popular. The gun had also become desirable before it was made legal by Military advertisement's and a desire to have something that isn't sold anymore. Because of this the AR-15 very quickly became a very popular gun in America. It had become a symbol of freedom for many. However now it has become well know for another reason. The AR-15 has been used in many shooting and people are now talking about if it should be banned again. After reading this article I feel that I understand why people want to keep this gun so much. Even though I understand why people love this gun so much I still think that it would be better to ban it.
